/test-data

Testing class

Writes test source into the repo and executes it — the only class that does both. Shared rules: CONVENTIONS-testing.md.

Generates fixtures and factories against the repo's own test stack, gives each spec its own data so runs do not collide, and resolves every credential from the environment. Writes only inside detected test directories and PROPOSES the commit.

At a glance

Run it /test-data
Class testing

Needs the repo's own test stack · the app's data model (schema, migrations, ORM models) · an existing seed or factory setup

What it needs, and what happens without it

Every tool is detected at runtime — none is installed for you.

Tool Without it
the repo's own test stack SKIP — never impose a factory library
the app's data model (schema, migrations, ORM models) generate from the case objects alone, and say the shapes are inferred
an existing seed or factory setup create a new one, and say so

Agents it spawns

This skill spawns no subagents — it runs inline.

The procedure

The executable steps live in the skill file itself and are deliberately not reproduced here: they are instructions to the model at runtime, not documentation.
